Life Changes

Well its been a while since I've blogged. Its been over a month. Boy a lot can happen in one short month. Where do I start? Well Austin was racing his motorcycle in January when he lost power and did a nose dive and rolled. Watching that was like it was in slow motion. Well he wouldn't let un take him to the hospital that night but by 6:30 am he was in my room asking if we would take him. Dan took him in which nothing was broken but we needed to take him into a specialist. So we finally got him in on Thursday garantee this happened on Saturday night. Then of course they send us for a MRI the next day, which ended up waiting until the following Tuesday to find out he had torn he meniscus resulting in needing surgery. Of which his doctor was in Hawaii on vacation all week so we had to wait another week for his surgery.

And top of that the week Austin got hurt Dan lost his job. It almost felt like it was more than I could handle. This is one of the times I really needed my dad's advice, for him to tell me it was going to be alright. Oh, how I miss him, not only at these times of my life but just every day I miss talking to him. He would really help to know how to handle my teenager (not mentioning any names) I do have 2 teens now. Scary thought.

I have had some all time lows lately. But through all these things, it has brought me to be humble and so eternally grateful to my heavenly father and our savior. I know their has been time through this that my Heavenly father has had to carry me because I could not do this on my own. It is amazing how important the gospel is. I am grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and his atonement.

Dan just got an offer for a contracting job working for IHC. Which we are really grateful for this opportunity.

I can't believe yesterday was Valentine's Day. It was a really great day. Dan & I went to the temple and out to eat. After that we took 3 of our boys and went to a movie. It is just great to spent time with my family. I love you all.
